Verdant Commercial Capital, LLC, an independent equipment finance company, hired Brian Lowe to become its Chief Commercial Officer. Lowe has over 15 years of diversified commercial experience selling and leading teams across multiple industries and functions with a proven ability to establish and grow relationships with potential and existing vendors.
He joined GE Capital through their Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) working in various businesses: Enterprise, Corporate Lending, Franchise Finance and Vendor Finance. He was the National Sales Manager for a major material handling equipment manufacturer helping it increase sales through financing with their independent dealer network and direct sales force. He was also a Managing Director on GE Capital’s Business Development team focusing on originating new vendor programmatic relationships across the Construction, Industrial, Machine Tool, and Energy Industries. Recently, he was the General Manager at an independent finance company where he led a team focused on the material handling and construction industry.
“I am excited for the opportunity we have at Verdant to do something really special. For me, it’s all about the people who work here and our customers. Our No. 1 goal will be to help our vendors and dealers sell more equipment through financing,” Lowe said.
Lowe is a graduate of Virginia Tech where he received his B.S. in finance. H received his MBA from Emory University.
Verdant is led by CEO Mike Rooney, Executive Vice President John Merritt and Chief Credit Officer Chris Kelley. Verdant’s initial focus is in the broad segments of Specialty Vehicle, Construction, Technology, Energy Efficiency/Renewables, Industrial and Office Solutions.
