Candi Pavliscak, Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for Hitachi Business Finance, is featured in this week’s edition of Crain’s Detroit Business as one of the most Notable Women in Finance.
Crain’s Detroit Business chose the featured women based on their career accomplishments and leadership qualities, involvement in nonprofits and community organizations, and evidence that they mentor others in their field.
Pavliscak has been involved in commercial lending for more than 25 years. She is responsible for managing the operations team at Hitachi Business Finance, overseeing the credit risk of multiple commercial finance portfolios with more than $220 million in assets and servicing operations for additional Hitachi lending divisions. She also coordinates audit and credit functions with Hitachi’s parent company.
“Candi is deserving of this recognition for many reasons. Her fierce commitment to our success and team, her loyalty, and tireless work ethic are just a few of the many qualities that make Candi such a stellar colleague. She is a true asset to our organization,” said Mike Semanco, President and COO of Hitachi Business Finance, who has worked with Pavliscak since 1998.
James Giaimo, Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, Commercial Finance for Hitachi Capital America, added: “I am continuously impressed by her professionalism, tenacity, and character as she approaches her responsibilities. Her reliability and accuracy of work is paramount to the success of our Business Finance division and she can be unconditionally relied upon for delivering results. We’re lucky to have her on our team, and I’m even luckier to have the chance to know and work with her.”
