Reuters reported that General Electric is considering options for its aircraft leasing operations, including the sale of all or part of the businesss, according to people familiar with the matter.
According to the Reuters report, sources stated GE’s move on GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) follows expressions of interest from some of its competitors and a spin-off of the business is also a possibility, according to the sources who cautioned that GE may decide to keep the business.
