That said, I do feel the time has come for me to move on to the next phase of my career.”
Marlin also announced the promotion of Mark Scardigli to the newly created position of Senior Vice President & Chief Sales Officer. Previously, Mr. Scardigli served as Senior Vice President and leader of Marlin’s indirect sales team. “Mark has assumed increasing levels of responsibility in recent years, and this promotion reflects his current leadership role within Marlin’s sales organization,” said Hilzinger. “I look forward to continuing to work with him to capitalize on the many exciting opportunities we see, particularly as we continue to execute the Marlin 2.0 strategy to take the company to the next level of growth and profitability.”
Hilzinger concluded, “At the same time, it is with mixed emotions that we say good-bye to Ed Siciliano. His track-record of success in each of the positions he has held at Marlin over the years is a testament to his talent and leadership abilities. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
