Stonebriar Commercial Finance's SCF Business Aviation platform is re-launching as SCF Aviation Capital with the expansion of its capabilities to include both commercial and business aviation.

Stonebriar Commercial Finance ("Stonebriar") also announced that it has named Kevin L. Brown Vice President - Portfolio Management.  Brown joins Stonebriar from CIT Group Inc. where he spent his entire 14-year career there in its Business Aircraft Finance unit, most recently in the same position he now holds with Stonebriar. Stonebriar has completed its acquisition of 16 loans from CIT bringing the total Aviation Capital portfolio to 64 assets as of June 30th 2017. He will report to Nicholas M. Sandler, Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director of Stonebriar's Aviation Capital platform.
