PNC Appoints LaClair to Lead PNC Business Banking

PNC Bank announced the appointment of Jennifer LaClair to lead PNC’s Business Banking team.

Based in Pittsburgh, LaClair is responsible for leading one of the largest domestic business banks. She was most recently chief financial officer of PNC’s business units including Retail Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, Asset Management Group, Mortgage and Non-Strategic Assets. Before that, she was CFO for Retail Banking and Asset Management Group.

She replaces Richard Bynum who was recently named regional president for PNC’s Greater Washington market.

Before joining the bank in 2007, she worked at McKinsey & Company, serving as a strategy consultant for banking, health care, manufacturing and non-profit clients. Early in her career, she worked in international development in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and West Africa.

LaClair has a master in business administration Case Western Reserve University where she was the Class of 2001 Alumni Scholar and earned the Scott S. Cowen Outstanding Leadership Award. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
