Fleet Advantage announced it was named by Food Logistics as a Top 100 Software and Technology Provider in 2016, highlighting the top technology companies for the global food and beverage supply chain. The complete list appears in the magazine's November/December 2016 issue, as well as online at www.foodlogistics.com.
Food Logistics is the only publication dedicated to the global food and beverage supply chain industry. Fleet Advantage has now made the list three straight years dating back to 2013. The company is being recognized because of its advanced suite of data, technology and analytic solutions for clients, which includes its EXchangeIT® flexible lease solution, along with ATLAAS (Advanced Truck Lifecycle Administrative Analytics Software). ATLAAS’s data collection and interpretation now have saved customers more than $40 million in operating costs, and 125,000 metric tons in excess emissions since inception.
“The software and technology sector continues to generate new and exciting opportunities for growers, food manufacturers, grocery retailers and the many logistics providers that support them,” notes Lara L. Sowinski, editorial director at Food Logistics. “Today’s cloud-based solutions and mobile connectivity are helping create tools that are more flexible, affordable and responsive, making software and technology even more valuable to those in the global food supply chain.”
“Our analytic tools, software and business philosophy have not only changed our company, but they have also helped to change the industry,” said Brian Holland, President and CFO of Fleet Advantage. “These implementations are now tangibly improving business balance sheets for companies in the food and beverage supply chain, enabling a more efficient, cleaner operation, with significant positive benefits for food and beverage companies.”
As the industry adopts Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC) systems, data intelligence will become imperative for making logical, data-driven decisions for the lowest cost of operations for fleets that wish to remain highly competitive.
