DLL, a global provider of asset based financial solutions, received two awards during the Leasing Life convention in Paris. The financial solutions provider received the Vendor Finance Provider and the Sustainability award from Leasing Life, one of the top leasing industry journals in Europe.
The eleventh Leasing Life Awards ceremony, which took place at the Hotel du Collectionneur in Paris on the 24th November was held as a part of the Leasing Life Conference. This annual event brings together leading organizations from a variety of leasing industry backgrounds, to discuss and celebrate the industry’s progress.
After an intense selection procedure by a judging panel, DLL was appointed as the winner in two categories. The panel of judges brought in fresh industry expertise and longstanding knowledge of Europe’s asset finance industry. “Nominations for the Leasing Life awards were extremely competitive this year”, comments Brian Cantwell, editor of Leasing Life. “Especially within reasonably new categories, like ‘Sustainability’.
Sustainability Award
This award is designed to recognize non-CSR based, external sustainability initiatives on the leasing products or services that the lessor might offer. The award is not designed to recognize a handful of one off transactions, but a clearly demonstrated business commitment to the principles of sustainability.
Although DLL is acting amongst a growing amount of very professional and eager competitors, DLL continues to set the pace for the industry within this field. The jury adds, “Through its Lifecycle Asset Management program DLL has the finance structure to promote recycling. Their commitment to this theory all the way through their vendors, their dealers, their sales teams and being able to persuade customers to buy repurposed and recycled equipment is impressive. This part of their business has scaled rapidly since it started in 2013, which shows its tremendous potential. Most important, todays measurable results are a source of inspiration and motivation for the entire industry. They are truly a pioneer in this field. ”

Vendor Finance Provider Award
The Vendor Finance Provider award recognizes an asset finance lessor that has worked in conjunction with a manufacturer to provide tailored asset finance at the point of sale. The essence of success is building strong and successful partnerships that add clear value to both sides and that withstands the ebbs and flows of the external environment.
The jury explains, “Through DLL’s high quality feedback in their endorsements from clients and their unconditional focus on the vendor partnerships, DLL far surpassed the competition within the Vendor Finance Provider category, making them the winner."
