GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation announced it was named “Best Leasing Company” in The Cannata Report’s 2016 Annual Dealer Survey for the fourth year in a row. The honor as best leasing company was recognized for the first time with a Frank Award at The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Dinner in Livingston, NJ last week.
“While The Cannata Report’s 31st Annual Dealer Survey showed dealers are working with more than two leasing companies, 97% of the respondents who revealed GreatAmerica Financial Services as their primary leasing vendor rated them 4.7 out of 5.0,” said CJ Cannata, EVP and publisher, The Cannata Report. “This marks the second year in a row GreatAmerica Financial Services has scored 4.7. This is the highest score ever achieved in the leasing category—or any other category for that matter—and this level of recognition by the dealer community is an overwhelming confirmation of their consistent commitment to excellence.”
“GreatAmerica has deep respect for the dealer community and it is humbling to match this record rating from them again this year,” said Jennie Fisher, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Office Equipment Group at GreatAmerica. “We are proud to have earned this award as top-rated finance company seven out of the last eight years.”
“Leasing companies fund the majority of transactions across the dealer channel. Although we have been tracking leasing companies in our annual survey for the past eight years, the time was right to recognize their importance to the industry by creating a physical award to formally acknowledge the category,” said Cannata, adding, “It’s our pleasure to bestow the inaugural—and well-deserved—Best Leasing Company Award to GreatAmerica.”
According to The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey, 75 dealers representing 26% of the A3 MFP universe said GreatAmerica Financial Services was their primary leasing provider. Of those 75 dealers, 58 respondents or 77% rated GreatAmerica as “excellent” and 15 dealers (20% of respondents) rated them as “very good.”
A total of $180,000 was raised and pledged at the 2016 Cannata Dinner to benefit the Jackie Ritschel Memorial Endowment for Cancer Research and Treatment at Hackensack University Medical Center and Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon.
Winners of the 2016 Frank Awards, named after Frank G. Cannata, were determined by a survey of the independent dealer community. There were 296 dealer respondents this year. In addition to the GreatAmerica win for Best Leasing Company, awards were presented in seven other categories, can be found at: www.greatamerica.com/cannata2016
