Crestmark Bank, now in its 20th year, recently welcomed three new staff members, and named David Menoian, sales analyst with the SBA Division, an officer of the company. New additions to Crestmark’s growing staff are: Joseph Civitella, assistant vice president, account executive, for the Trade Services Division; Irina Petcu, assistant vice president, junior underwriter for the East Division; Tracey Turzinski, vice president, senior underwriter for the West Division.
David Menoian, sales analyst for the SBA Division, has been promoted to Crestmark officer. Menoian reports to SBA Division First Vice President, National Sales Director Christopher Soupal, and is based at the company’s corporate offices in Troy. Menoian joined Crestmark in 2013, right out of college, as a field examiner; in 2015, he transitioned to the SBA Division as an analyst. Since joining the SBA Division eight months ago, Menoian has: closed several transactions, had an important role in managing and enhancing Crestmark’s broker relationships, assisted with process improvements related to due-diligence, and contributed to SBA reporting and communications to senior management. Menoian has a bachelor’s degree in business and philosophy from Kalamazoo College.
Joseph Civitella, assistant vice president, account executive, is the newest member of Crestmark’s Trade Services Division. Civitella reports to First Vice President, Director of Trade Services Steve Turkish, and is based in Crestmark’s New York City offices. Civitella has been in the finance industry for more than 20 years, and comes to Crestmark from Sterling National Bank’s Factoring & Trade Finance Division, where he was vice president. Previous positions include: vice president in factoring for DCD Capital, and assistant operations manager for National Equity Corp.
Irina Petcu joins the company as assistant vice president, junior underwriter for the East Division. Petcu is based at Crestmark’s corporate office in Troy, Michigan, and reports to First Vice President, East Division Underwriting Manager John Trendell. Petcu comes to Crestmark from Michigan Business Connection where, most recently, she was senior commercial portfolio manager. Previously, Petcu worked for Comcast as a senior analyst in credit and collections; and for Greenfield Commercial Credit where she held positions as operations manager, portfolio manager and collateral analyst. Petcu has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Tracey Turzinski joins the West Division as vice president, senior underwriter. She is based in Crestmark’s office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and reports to Vice President, West Division Underwriting Manager Jerry Friedrichs. Turzinski has nearly 20 years of experience in finance and underwriting. Most recently she was a portfolio manager for SouthStar Financial. Her career experience includes: executive vice president at Midland American Capital; vice president of operations at Aegis Business Credit; and senior underwriter at Summit Financial Resources, among others. Turzinski has a bachelor’s of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
