Vedder Price P.C. announced that Kevin MacLeod  has joined the firm as the Head of the New York Capital Markets Group. 

“We are delighted to have Kevin join our Securities & Capital Markets Group at Vedder Price.  As head of our New York practice, he will greatly expand our client offerings in one of our key markets,” says John Blatchford, Co-Chair of the Securities & Capital Markets Group at Vedder Price.

MacLeod centers his practice on advising underwriters and issuers on offerings of debt securities, particularly representing leading investment banks in capital markets transactions related to the aviation industry. He has extensive experience with enhanced equipment trust certificates (EETCs), secured and unsecured high yield notes, aircraft lease securitizations and Ex-Im Bank guaranteed notes. Mr. MacLeod has also advised companies operating around the globe on IPOs, secondary equity offerings, tender offers and consent solicitations.

Dean Gerber, chair of Vedder Price’s Global Transportation Finance team, adds, “Kevin brings tremendous experience in the global capital markets to our Vedder Price GTF team. Our platform provides a natural stage for him to expand his practice in our burgeoning aviation finance group.”

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. MacLeod was Special Counsel in the Global Securities Group of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York. He earned his LL.B./B.C.L. with distinction from McGill University and his B.A. from Concordia University, both in Montreal, Quebec.
