The National Equipment Finance Association, NEFA, will hold a Crab Feast and industry networking event June 11, 2015, at Nick’s Fish House, in Baltimore, Maryland.  The event is open to all equipment finance industry participants and typically draws attendees from all parts of the county.

NEFA’s Crab Feast is one of the industry’s longest running networking events with roots going back through EAEL and before. 

According to Nancy Pistorio, CLFP, of Madison Capital, “The informal event used to happen annually thirty years ago by and between local leasing companies here in Maryland.  Then several years later we instituted it as a Baltimore/Washington chapter event for EAEL (one of the predecessor organizations of today’s NEFA).”

Nancy Pistorio is one of the organizers and Co-Chairs of this year’s event along with Bruce Winter, CLFP, of FSG Capital, Inc., and Scott Wheeler, CLFP, of Wheeler Business Consulting.

“My co-workers and I look forward to the NEFA Crab Feast and have attended every year since 1999. The networking is great we all look forward to putting a face to a voice we have been doing business with” said, Bruce Winter.

Scott Wheeler said, “The crab feast has always been a fun event seeing old friends and meeting new ones.  It’s a local event that has attracted industry professionals nationwide. It is always a blast to see people who have never eaten crabs enjoy them for the first time.”
