The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) announced it is accepting member nominations for its 2015 Operations & Technology Excellence (O&TE) Award. The award will be presented to up to two winners at the ELFA Operations & Technology Conference, Sept. 16-18 in Philadelphia. The deadline for nominations is Monday, June 1, 2015.

The O&TE Award Program identifies and recognizes equipment finance organizations that are focused on innovation in either process re-engineering or technology. Submissions may include—but are not limited to—a new initiative, business model, consolidation, efficiency or digital transformation project.

“The O&TE Award highlights recent innovative implementations where equipment finance companies have invested in the areas of process re-engineering and the use of technology,” said Hal Hitch, Director of Global Operations at CIT Equipment Finance and O&TE Award Subcommittee Chair. “We encourage ELFA regular members to apply for this award and showcase their success stories at the upcoming Operations & Technology Conference in Philadelphia in September.”

“When these awards are showcased at the Operations & Technology Conference, the session is very well attended,” said ELFA President and CEO William G. Sutton, CAE. “It is a tremendous example of how our member companies unselfishly share best practices for the betterment of the industry.”

In addition to the winners receiving recognition at the Operations & Technology Conference, they will receive industry-wide recognition at the 2015 ELFA Annual Convention, Oct. 25-27 in San Antonio; in Equipment Leasing & Finance magazine; on the ELFA website; in the ELFA QuickBrief e-newsletter; and on the association’s social media channels.
