Element Financial Corporation announced that Mr. Harry Zander has been appointed as Senior Vice President Sales in Element’s Rail Finance vertical.

“To expand Element’s presence in the North American rail finance market, we’ve brought on board a sales leader with deep knowledge of the industry and a broadly-based sales network,” noted David McKerroll, President of Element Rail & Aviation. “Harry brings to Element more than 23 years of rail leasing and finance experience together with a proven sales capability that aligns perfectly with our culture and our growth objectives,” added Mr. McKerroll.

Mr. Zander joins Element from Macquarie Rail, where he served as Managing Director, SVP, Sales & Marketing for the past eight years. Prior to this, he served for six years as vice president Sales & Marketing at Mitsui Rail. Reporting to David McKerroll, President of Element Rail & Aviation, Mr. Zander will lead the Company’s railcar leasing business from its new Chicago office where Element is anchoring its rail finance team to serve this growing segment of the North American equipment finance market.
