Equipment Finance Cares (EF Cares) held its first event of 2025 in April in Dallas, TX. More than 50 equipment finance professionals attended, representing 32 different organizations.
“I’d like to thank Arvest and Centra 4-Hour Funding for co-hosting our first event of 2025,” said Jesse Johnson, President of Consult Disrupt and Founder of Equipment Finance Cares. “A big thank you to all who attended and for the continued support of all our EF Cares sponsors.”
The event kicked off with a workshop led by featured speaker Hilary Bilbrey, titled The Road to Oz: Mentees, Mentors, and Leaders, Oh My! The engaging session was very well received by attendees and set the tone for the panel discussion that followed.
The human side of equipment finance panel was moderated by Tom Forbes, EVP at Wintrust Commercial Finance and featured John Boettigheimer, President of Centra 4-Hour Funding, Eric Bunnell, President of Arvest Equipment Finance, Kent Hammett, COO of Equify Financial LLC and Steve Wright, VP at Huntington Bank Equipment Finance.
The foundations highlighted during the event included Love Life Now, First Tee Dallas, Defenders of Freedom, Neuro Assistance Foundation, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Equipment Finance Cares will be donating event proceeds to these deserving organizations and encourages the equipment finance community to explore the impactful work they are doing.
NEFA hosted a networking reception that concluded the event.
The next EF Cares event will be on Tuesday, June 17th in Conshohocken, PA, and will be hosted by Apex Commercial Capital.
