WSFS Bank, the primary subsidiary of WSFS Financial Corporation, has named Kate McGlinchey as Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer.
Reporting to WSFS Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, Christine Davis, McGlinchey will lead the design and execution of the bank’s Compliance Management, Fraud and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs. Her responsibilities cover all risk areas of the organization, including wealth, consumer regulatory compliance, BSA/AML, enterprise governance, risk management and driving the strategic direction of the bank’s compliance team.
“Kate is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive industry experience,” said Davis. “Kate’s expertise will ensure that our commitment to regulatory standards remains strong, enabling continued growth.”
McGlinchey joins WSFS with more than 20 years of experience in regulatory compliance, financial crimes, risk management, first line of defense governance and fraud risk management. She has served in a variety of senior regulatory and compliance roles at financial institutions such as TD, Capital One, ING Direct, and most recently with First Citizens Bank.

McGlinchey holds the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation from the American Bankers Association. She earned an Enterprise Risk Management certification from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and studied communications and applied technology at Drexel University. In addition to her professional accomplishments, McGlinchey serves on the board of Communities in Schools of Delaware, a dropout prevention program that provides wraparound services to support at-risk youth.
