Nick Karlen has been named vice president of Originations for Truist Equipment Finance covering the State of Florida. He will be reporting to Scott Lackovitch, Managing Director.
“We’re very happy to promote from within and build a meaningful career for Nick,” said Lackovitch.
Karlen began his banking career in 2018 with BB&T Equipment Finance. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance (Cum Laude) at West Virginia University. After college, he completed the BB&T Early Career Program (ECP). His strong credit foundation, deal flow management skills, and ability to work efficiently with his fellow teammates have played an integral part in his career development. As he pivots to the originations side of the business, he looks forward to building strong rapport with the bankers and long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients.
