Union Leasing, Inc., a leader in providing commercial vehicle leasing and fleet management solutions, has named Jeffrey Hurrell, CAFM to the position of Regional Sales Manager, west coast.

“Hiring Jeff for the west coast strengthens Union Leasing’s national footprint,” said Mark Conroy, V.P. of Sales and Marketing. “Jeff brings a unique perspective to the position, having previously managed a fleet of 9,000 vehicles. He intimately understands the challenges of the fleet manager. He is also a CAFM, which is a very challenging certification to achieve.”

Hurrell has more than 30 years of experience in fleet management. Most recently, he was the North American Fleet Program Manager for Hewlett Packard Co. in Los Angeles where he was directly responsible for the strategic direction of the program with a budget of more than $300 million. He helped develop a sustainability strategy for the fleet to reduce emissions and utilize alternative fuels and alternate vehicle combustion technologies.

Hurrell is a Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM), holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and is currently pursuing a MPA from Cal State Dominguez Hills. He is a member of the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association and a Past PSW Chapter Board Member of the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA). He was thrice nominated for the Automotive Fleet’s “Fleet Manager of the Year Award.”
