GE Capital recently named Isabel Fernandez chief commercial officer. In this role, she leads all sales, marketing and product development across GE Capital, which operates in more than 50 countries.

Since joining GE Capital in 2000, Fernandez has served as the chief commercial officer for North America and for Europe/Middle East/Africa. She has also served as the leader of various GE Capital businesses in the U.S. and Europe.

Before joining GE, Fernandez worked in commercial banking in roles ranging from structured finance to global relationship management.

Fernandez holds a master’s degree in corporate law from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
