January 31, 2025, 07:00 AM

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., LPA, a full-service creditors' rights law firm with over 94 years of client service, announced the addition of attorneys Danielle Bechard and Jacob Kruer to the firm’s Cincinnati, Ohio, office. Bechard is in the Consumer Collections Group and Kruer is in the Bankruptcy Recovery Group.

Known for her determination, curiosity and hard-working nature, Bechard strives to differentiate herself by bringing compassion and innovation to her practice. She applies a collaborative and client-focused approach to assisting financial institutions with resolving delinquent accounts. Her background in commercial real estate transactions provides a strong foundation for navigating complex legal and financial matters, ensuring her clients receive thorough and dependable advocacy.

“I’m excited to start my legal career at a firm with such an incredible reputation as Weltman,” she said. “I look forward to learning alongside the talented attorneys here at the firm.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Danielle to the Cincinnati office and privileged that she will begin her legal career at Weltman,” said shareholder and Cincinnati office managing attorney Jamie Hart. “Danielle has already shown herself to be a passionate advocate for her clients and we are excited to see her grow in her practice for years to come.”

Licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky, Kruer has developed a unique perspective in bankruptcy law, honed through nine years of professional experience, including five years as a paralegal and four years as an attorney. Working closely with clients across various industries—businesses, individuals, consultants, sales associates and other professionals—he is known for his honest, helpful and hardworking approach.

“I am excited to be in a position to expand my experience in the bankruptcy recovery industry,” said Kruer. “I look forward to working in the bankruptcy department. You can’t spell bankruptcy without Kru, and I believe the crew here at Weltman is a great one.”

“I think Jacob will bring a new and interesting perspective in his creditors rights position, by taking advantage of his previous experience as debtor’s counsel,” says Cincinnati bankruptcy attorney Erin McCabe. “He is a welcome addition to our team!”  Jamie Hart added, “It’s been my immense pleasure to work with Jacob and his versatile bankruptcy background will be an asset to our growing bankruptcy practice and benefit our clients for years to come.”
