Oakmont Capital Services has added two new team members to its Pennsylvania headquarters. Nicholas Trapani has joined the team as a Staff Accountant and Joe Smith has come on board as an IT Security Analyst.
Trapani has a background in economic research and accounting. He will contribute to the accounting team by managing cash deposits and postings for OCS’s portfolio of equipment finance agreements, while assisting with the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate closing of books.
“We are happy to have Nick on board as part of our growing accounting team,” said George Krusen, MAcct, CPA, CLFP, FMVA, and Chief Financial Officer. “The growth OCS is experiencing is a wonderful testament to our customers, partners, employees, and new owner, all committed to making it possible for all stakeholders.”
Smith, who joins the IT team, has 10 years of experience in various facets of the information technology industry. At OCS, he will lead critical security projects while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to strengthen OCS' security framework. He will also establish and oversee comprehensive security processes, compliance procedures, and reporting mechanisms across the organization.
“We are excited to welcome Joe to the Oakmont team. Joe brings a diverse set of experiences and skills that will help us further our high-tech, high-touch approach with the internal Oakmont teams, our customers, and vendors,” said Bill Schmidt, MBA, and Director of IT. “His expertise allows us to have a team member focused on the ever-changing security and compliance landscape as we continue to evolve and grow in 2025 and beyond.”
