White & Case advised Groupe BPCE on the acquisition of the activities of Société Générale Equipment Finance (SGEF), one of the leading European providers of industrial equipment lease financing.
Following the transaction, Groupe BPCE will become the European leader of equipment financing solutions for manufacturers, dealers, vendors and corporate customers.
The transaction is subject to approval from the relevant regulatory bodies and antitrust authorities. It is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
