“The population expansion in the Mid-South brings with it an opportunity to connect with new prospects and existing TD Bank customers who are familiar with the brand," said Matt Boss, Head of Consumer Banking, TD Bank. “Chris' familiarity with the market is a great asset for TD as we as we look to build upon our recent retail expansion in the Charlotte metro area and expand our market share across the region.”

Most recently, he served as the Small Business Credit Executive at Bank of America. His extensive banking career also includes roles at Citizens Financial Group, BBVA Group and the former First Union National Bank of Florida.

“Chris has a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing local businesses and how to help them fund their ambitions,” said Chris Giamo, Head of Commercial Banking, TD Bank. “This knowledge can further enhance our teams' abilities to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes across the region.”
