The Certified Lease & Finance Professional (CLFP) Foundation announced the release of the 10th Edition of the Handbook, which has been updated to reflect the profound impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our industry and the expansion of the Uniform Commercial Code.
The updated Handbook is more than just a text update. It now comes with a long-awaited Audiobook version, narrated by Leonard Lane, CLFP, available on Google Play. This new format provides an additional resource that can be used as a supplement to the Handbook, making it more accessible and convenient for industry professionals.
Reid Raykovich, CLFP, CAE CEO of the Foundation, commented on choosing Leonard for the audiobook saying, “With his rich background as a disk jockey, he brings a unique and engaging voice to the narration of our Handbook. His deep understanding of the industry gained from his professional career, contributions to the Handbook, and his frequent instruction in Academies for Lease & Finance Professionals, as well as his work with students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and leading our Foundations for Commercial Equipment Finance course, all made him the perfect choice for this role. Leonard’s expertise and passion for the industry shine through in his narration, making the content enjoyable for our audience.”
In addition to the Audiobook, the CLFP Foundation has also released a comprehensive study guide. The guide includes summaries of each chapter in the Certified Lease & Finance Professionals Handbook, sample questions, and a suggested weekly study timeline. This resource is designed to assist professionals in their preparation for the CLFP Exam and is available for free on the CLFP Foundation’s website.
“We are committed to providing the most relevant and comprehensive resources for professionals in the leasing and finance industry. These updates and new additions reflect that commitment,” said Raykovich.
