Sudhir Amembal, CEO of Amembal & Halladay, and an affiliate of Rinaldi Advisory Services, instructed a one-day interactive virtual seminar entitled, "Winning with Leasing" on May 30. The seminar, an extract from the firm's live flagship seminar attended by over 35,000 equipment finance professionals, was attended by 40 equipment finance professionals.
Attendees included lessors as well as service providers. The former group included individuals ranging from newcomers to those with over 15 years of leasing experience.
The material, after a brief introduction on the distinction between capital and FMV leases, delved into the substantial benefits of leasing (34 in all!) as well as the tax and accounting impact of both types of leases on customers. Attendees were provided with the knowledge and tools on how best to understand varied customer motivations and arrive at deal-clinching responses to commonly encountered objections. It concluded with a host of approaches on how to add value, outsmart competition, and comprehend why only a few outperform.
