The accreditations were presented to Benton, Crump, and Kirsten at the NPTC’s Annual Conference this week in Orlando, Fla.
CTP professionals accredited by NPTC demonstrate unparalleled proficiency in setting and overseeing financial objectives goals, capital investment strategies, budgeting, and operational planning for transportation companies. The CTP accreditation additionally empowers professionals with comprehensive expertise in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), encompassing truck specifications, operations, maintenance, safety, and human resources. Bringing over 25 years of industry experience to Fleet Advantage, Benton holds a lengthy track record of success in business development, asset management, financing, and fleet risk management. His industry knowledge and experience in connected vehicles and last mile delivery have complemented his well-rounded fleet resume of heavy-duty assets. As a thought leader in fleet management, Benton has been responsible for creating sales strategies, and leading Fleet Advantage’s business development team, and his insights have been featured in a variety of industry publications, included the Commercial Carrier Journal (CCJ), Equipment Finance Advisor, Food Logistics, Inbound Logistics, and more addressing critical industry topics.
Crump’s extensive background spans over 15 years in business development and operations within Class 6-8 Tractors. His extensive expertise in specifications and operational strategies has supported Fleet Advantage’s data analytics, asset management, and financing solutions, further solidifying the company’s position as an industry leader. Since joining Fleet Advantage in February 2023, Crump has been responsible for providing solutions for life cycle asset management and financing Class 8 tractors and trailers, and his prior experience at both the OEM and dealership levels have supplemented these responsibilities.
Since she joined Fleet Advantage in July 2023, Babb has carried with her over seven years of private fleet experience across multiple areas, including asset management, maintenance, safety, quality control, and operations. As she started her career in the industry at the maintenance and repair shop level, Babb has transitioned her focus with Fleet Advantage to be involved in other areas of the company, including logistics, project management, employee onboarding/retention and training, which have allowed her to better understand the challenges fleets continue to navigate.
