PNC Equipment Finance announced the hiring of Jim Williams as vice president of business development with the sports and entertainment group. Williams is based in Cedar Park, Texas, and will focus on expanding PNC’s presence within the golf, sports venue and media industries.  

Williams brings to PNC more than 20 years of industry experience in finance sales and asset management. Previously, he was chief executive officer and chairman of Texas-based Styx Capital, specializing in equipment finance for the golf and technology industry. Williams also held similar duties with Dell Financial Services.  Originally from Canada, Williams received a bachelor’s degree from Durham College in Oshawa, Ont.
