Clarus Capital announced it hired Shawn Lenhart as a Director in the Investment Origination Group. In this role, he will focus on new client development, deepening and expanding existing client partnerships, and executing financing solutions for middle market companies across a wide variety of industries. Lenhart will be based in Columbus, OH and will report directly to Steve O’Leary, Chief Executive Officer of Clarus Capital.

Lenhart brings more than 30 years of experience sourcing and structuring equipment financings for large corporate and middle market clients across the United States. Prior to joining Clarus Capital, he was a Director at CIT Capital Equipment Finance, where he was responsible for new business development opportunities while overseeing a key midwestern territory. His previous roles include significant contributions to the equipment finance groups at Huntington Bank and Transamerica, as well as the commercial banking groups at PNC and US Bank.
