TD Bank announced Tara John has been named Head of Human Resources, TD Bank. John will be responsible for building organizational capability and driving the talent strategy to deliver against business priorities with teams across the U.S.

Under John’s leadership, TD's Human Resources team will further enhance employee engagement and foster talent development programs to unlock the full potential of colleagues.

Prior to this role, John was Head of Human Resources for U.S. Commercial Banking, accountable for leading the development and implementation of the Commercial Banking people strategy. John has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry and has experience in both front-line sales and human resources. John has worked in both Canada and the United States and during her tenure in Human Resources she has been involved in mergers and acquisitions, risk and regulatory, human resources strategy, organizational design, talent management, and learning and development.
