Equipment insurance specialist Acquis announced the appointment of Brian Madison as Managing Director of its North America operation.

In the role, Madison will be responsible for launching Acquis’ specialist insurance services into the U.S. equipment finance and leasing market. Having spent over 30 years in senior leadership roles within the U.S. leasing industry, Madison has extensive experience in growing and sustaining businesses in this sector.  

Prior to joining Acquis, Madison acted as President for Trinity Industries Leasing Company, where he led the lease services business. He has also played a key role in building leasing capabilities for leading brands such as Microsoft Financing, KeyCorp and Citigroup in earlier roles.

His appointment comes a month after Acquis was acquired by NSM Insurance Group, a market leader in specialty insurance. The acquisition has signaled a new phase in Acquis’ growth plans and will see the expansion of its solutions and services in existing and new territories.
