GSF Advisors announced Ted Jenkins has returned to join the firm that he co-founded in 2005 as a Managing Director in its Boston Office.
Jenkins is a successful investment banking professional with over 35 years of experience in advising, structuring, and arranging leading-edge tax and balance sheet-oriented financings including equipment leasing, traditional utility property, sustainable infrastructure, renewable projects, and energy transition assets.
GSF Advisors was established in 2005, with an emphasis on arranging primary and secondary market large-ticket equipment finance transactions. Since its inception, GSF has closed over $25 billion of equipment and project financing transactions in the renewable energy, transportation, real estate, mining, utility, infrastructure, and general manufacturing industries.
“We are extremely pleased to be reuniting with our old colleague, with whom we worked in the early years of developing our business at GSF Advisors,” said Lou DeCarlo and John Hackett, Managing Directors at GSF. Phil Mintun and Fix Terrasse, also Managing Directors at GSF, added, “Ted’s relationships and track record of closings across a broad mix of equipment and energy transition assets and project types will enable us to greatly expand our capabilities in an industry poised for continued growth.”
Jenkins added, “I am excited to lead GSF Advisors’ effort to expand it strong platform with projects designed to monetizing the broad mix of tax credits (so-called ‘Tax-Equity’) created by game-changing legislation under the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). My business has always taken a client-first approach. Re-joining the team at GSF Advisors will enable me to continue to help clients secure the optimal financing they need to expand their businesses.”
