Summit Bank announced the addition of Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Lead Dan Wahlin to its Westside Portland office. Wahlin is a veteran community banker. With almost 40 years of experience in the industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to its team.

Wahlin spent the majority of his career working in leadership positions with Oregon-based community banks. During his last tenure, he was responsible for managing a team of over 20 commercial bankers. He has a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and is an active member of the community.

He attended Portland State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and Accounting. He is also an alumni of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

As Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Lead, Wahlin is responsible for leading its commercial banking team in the Westside Portland area. He will be instrumental in taking care of our clients, growing Summit’s relationships and providing guidance and support to our team.
