KLC Financial announced the hiring of Brett Sorensen as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, the promotion of Gyles Uhlenhopp into program development, the promotion of Nicole Van Keulen into business development, and the hiring of Leah Kutsch as a Credit Analyst.
Sorensen joins the organization with deep competence in finance and organizational development. Most recently, Sorensen worked for ComputeNorth as the General Manager of Asset Optimization. In addition, he worked for several large national banks and has led business development teams for other industry giants. Sorensen will focus on streamlining the organization’s emphasis on growth.
Uhlenhopp continues to grow in the organization, adding vendor program development to his role. This will add a focus on finding, vetting and advancing vendor relationships to drive partner-driven growth. In addition, he will continue to lead the marketing department.
Van Keulen joins the business development team after her strong tenure as an Account Manager. This elevation allows her to leverage her strong industry relationships and tenacious attitude to help drive more sales for the organization.
Kutsch comes to KLC with strong equipment finance and credit experience. Before joining the KLC team, Kutsch worked in equipment finance at Wells Fargo and the finance department for the City of Waconia. With her industry background and contagiously positive attitude, Kutsch is already making an impact.
“This represents an important milestone for KLC. We’re extremely pleased to have Brett join the team and are excited about what he brings to the table. In addition, we’re happy to see amazing team members like Gyles and Nicole progress in our company and their careers,” said KLC Financial CEO Spencer Thomas.
