There is some exciting news coming from the National Equipment Finance Association’s most recent Funding Symposium held in Nashville! At this event, NEFA hosted its first ever charitable event to support nonprofit work outside of the industry and, through this inaugural event held at Bad Axe Throwing, NEFA raised over $21,000 for the Safe Haven women’s shelter in Nashville.

NEFA, its board of directors, its events committee, and all of the event’s sponsors are excited about the outcome of this charity event, and they are ecstatic about the turnout.

The event was all made possible through the help of its primary sponsors, Dakota Financial and Dedicated Financial GBC, in conjunction with these other sponsoring companies and individuals:  AMUR, AP Equipment Financing, Apex Commercial Capital, Channel, CSG Law, Kim King, KLC Financial, Leasepath, Liventus, LTi Technology Solutions, Oakmont Capital Services, and SLIM Capital.

“This type of event has been years in the making, and we’re all grateful that Dakota Financial agreed to come on board as a $10,000 sponsor in order to show that our businesses can have a major, positive impact when we all pull together,” said Shawn Smith, Founder and CEO of Dedicated Financial GBC.

Watch the video with Chad Sluss, CEO of NEFA, and Lovern Gordon, National Sales Executive at Boston Financial & Equity, showing them handing over the “Big Check Grand Surprise” to Safe Haven!”
