FORT Capital Resources, a commercial finance company focused on providing equipment finance solutions, has added Leah Jones to the team as Senior Director of Vendor Engagement (Medical). She will be working closely with new and existing Medical OEM partners and their reseller networks to implement sales-enhancing finance programs.
“I am thrilled to be joining the FORT team. While at MacuLogix, I was always impressed by the team’s level of integrity, ingenuity and partnership. I have centered my career around offering the best in customer service with the best-in-class companies and products. With FORT, I am able to continue that tradition and bring the best-in-class finance programs to the market,” Jones said.
Before joining FORT, Jones served as Director of Strategic Partnerships with MacuLogix where she managed business relationships with doctor alliance groups, consulting groups and KOL’s in the optometric market. While fulfilling her role there she had the opportunity to work alongside FORT on the partner side, experiencing firsthand the impact of a well-executed finance program supported by FORT. Jones began her career in eye care as a dispensing optician/pre-testing technician and moved on to work in the industry with companies such as Safilo, Hoya, BluTech and BioTissue. Her over 20-year tenure in the eye care industry has brought her a wealth of experience in all aspects of clinical implementation, practice management, education and sales.
“Adding someone to the team with such a deep understanding of the needs of our clients and partners, where our number one goal is to deliver value is very exciting,” said Brian Fleming, Managing Member at FORT. “Sometimes things just line up. Not only does Leah embody our core values and driving purpose, she also has a proven set of skills and expertise that make her a perfect fit for this role. With her solution minded approach and extensive background, it’s no doubt she will be a great asset to our vendor partners, clients and FORT as a whole.”
Jones is an alumnus of the University of Minnesota graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Scientific and Technical Communications.
