Healthcare Finance Group, LLC ("HFG") announced that Andy Phelps and Mark Farlin have joined the company as Senior Vice Presidents of Business Development. Their efforts are part of HFG's expanding sales and marketing initiatives as it grows to meet the increasing financial demands of the healthcare industry.
Mr. Farlin is located in San Diego, CA and is responsible for managing the business development effort in the West and Southwest. He is focused on covering healthcare providers in California and the southwest, including Texas and Oklahoma, and on medical device and other healthcare manufacturers throughout the western U.S.
Mr. Farlin has over 15 years experience originating and structuring healthcare transactions, with specific expertise in equipment and capital expenditure transactions. He joins HFG from Olympus Financial Services where he was a Director of Sales and Corporate Accounts. Previously, Mr. Farlin worked in Citicapital's healthcare division and at GE Healthcare Financial Services.
Mr. Phelps is located in Charlotte, NC and is responsible for managing the business development effort in the Southeast. He is focused on originating transactions directly from healthcare companies and through intermediaries.
Mr. Phelps has over 20 years experience managing, underwriting, structuring and originating a wide variety of corporate senior debt transactions, with a specific focus in healthcare and extensive experience in the southeast. He joins HFG from PNC Bank where he was a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager in Healthcare Corporate Banking. Previously, Mr. Phelps worked at Fifth Third Bank and Wells Fargo Corporation (Wachovia).
