M&T Bank Corp. has named Peter D’Arcy as Head of Commercial Banking. D’Arcy, a longtime M&T employee, is to succeed Gino Martocci, who is retiring. The transition is expected to take place on July 1.
The move was first reported by Bloomberg, which noted D’Arcy already oversees the bank’s commercial real estate, capital markets and institutional banking businesses and supervises activities in New York City, Long Island and on the West Coast. See the Bloomberg article here.
M&T Bank, which closed on its merger with People’s United Financial Inc., announced the appointment of Erin Komorowski as head of M&T's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) office. Komorowski previously served as Group Vice President of ESG. She replaces John D'Angelo, who retired April 1 after 35 years with M&T.
D'Angelo began his career with M&T Bank in 1987 and has served in a number of management positions, including Senior Vice President and General Auditor from 2005 to 2017. He was appointed Chief Risk Officer in 2017 and held that position until March 2021, and to M&T’s Management Committee in May 2018.
