Accelerating its commitment to offer financing for the construction industry, Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada has named Benoit Lefebvre as Senior National Director for Construction. In his new position, Lefebvre will lead the company’s team and efforts throughout Canada in providing financing for all types of new and used construction equipment ranging from compact to heavy duty, and for value-added products such as equipment-backed revolving lines of credit, debt refinancing and working capital loans.
“Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada is well-positioned to become a leader among financial institutions serving the construction industry by offering services that extend across the entire value chain,” said David Gagnon, Vice President of Equipment Finance. “Lefebvre brings a depth of experience working with both OEMs and dealers, and will be invaluable in building strong relationships with our partners, and in developing creative, customized solutions for their financing needs.”
In particular, said Gagnon, the company offers a one-stop-shop approach to its partners with its North American service package combining inventory financing and retail financing. The option of these services in one place, together with personalized service, provides a marked advantage for its partners.
“Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada’s formidable field presence and reputation in the construction industry is due to the ability to work as a trusted partner that can develop tailored solutions for clients, all within outstanding turnaround times,” said Lefebvre. “With the company on a fast-moving growth path, this is the perfect time for me to join them on this journey.”
Lefebvre comes to Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada with more than two decades of experience in wholesale and retail financing, sales and business development. Most recently, he was with CASE Construction Equipment, where he served as Canadian Regional Sales Director and Eastern Canada Sales Manager. Previously, Lefebvre was National Account Manager at Electrolux Major Appliances. He has held positions of Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Manager for GE Money Canada, and Regional Sales Manager for Honda Canada Inc.
A resident of L’Assomption, Quebec, Lefebvre holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Bishop’s University, Lennoxville, Quebec.
