With a wealth of experience in rail fleet management and organizational leadership, Ashley Dietiker was appointed as the Commercial Operations and Customer Service Manager at Mitsui Rail Capital.

“I can’t say enough good things about Ashley and the job she’ll do for us,” said Bryan F. Vaughan, Mitsui Rail Capital Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. “She knows a lot about the industry, she’s enthusiastic, responsive, works well with teams and is an experienced fleet administrator. She’ll be a great asset to the MRC team.”

Dietiker comes to MRC with more than eight years of experience in the rail industry. Before serving as Operations Manager at Infinity Transportation, she was Rail Fleet Administrator and Fleet Maintenance Coordinator for VTG Rail, which she joined in 2014. While at VTG, she managed maintenance for a rail fleet of more than 6,300 cars, coordinating with customers to ensure timely delivery. She also provided critical organizational leadership during her time at VTG, keeping projects on track and updating information on new car deliveries.

“I knew Bryan (Vaughan) from our time together at VTG and it’s clear Mitsui Rail Capital is focused on growing so I’m really excited to join the team,” Dietiker said. “I know MRC takes a lot of pride in its ability to react quickly and take care of customers, so I look forward to continuing to provide that kind of service.”

Dietiker is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, with a B.S. in Business Administration and Management.
