Clarus Capital announced it has hired veteran equipment finance banker Doug Slagle as a Director in the Direct Investment Origination Group. In this role, he will focus on new client acquisitions, expanding existing client partnerships and generating asset-secured financing opportunities with companies across a variety of industries. Slagle will be based in Utah and will report to Matt Worman, Head of Direct Investment Origination at Clarus Capital.
Slagle brings more than 20 years of experience sourcing and structuring equipment financings for clients across the United States. Prior to joining Clarus Capital, he was a Vice President at LendingClub Bank, where he was responsible for new business development opportunities. Previously, he worked in the equipment finance groups at People’s Utah Bankcorp and VFI.
