True North Equity Partners CEO Brian Slipka announced Super Bowl Champion Ben Utecht has joined the organization as Chief Culture Officer. Honour Capital is among the North Equity Partners companies. Utecht is a business owner, speaker, author, spokesperson and vocal recording artist. He is also a former NFL player. Utecht played six years at tight end, primarily for the Indianapolis Colts, where he earned a Super Bowl championship ring in 2007.
Utecht was a four-year starter for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, earning a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. He was honored in 2019 with The Uncommon Award, a prestigious honor given by Hall of Fame Coach and Legend Tony Dungy for those who have demonstrated high character and achievement in today’s world.
“With the addition of Ben to the True North team, our commitment continues to be in making the necessary investments to embrace servant leadership and foster a culture that helps everyone achieve and be fulfilled in the work that we do,” said Slipka.
“I am so excited to become part of the team,” said Utecht. “My entire life’s passion is to build and multiply championship culture in and through people and organizations. I believe that culture is the human condition at work and that what you believe has a direct impact on the behaviors that drive your performance.”
“My goal is to capture the culture of the True North family of companies—and to make it an objective tool that will drive high-performance results that not only will create success but, more importantly, change people’s lives,” said Utecht.
