Tamarack Technology, Inc., a provider of independent software solutions in the equipment finance and commercial lending industry, has hired equipment finance technology veteran Greg Henderson to support the company’s new artificial intelligence (AI) offering. In his role as Systems Operations Manager, Henderson will provide development, operational oversight and support for clients implementing the Tamarack.ai cloud-based platform, products and services.
Launched in January, Tamarack.ai is a business intelligence and productivity platform that applies machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to continuously and autonomously help organizations reduce capital risk through analysis and learning gained from operational data. Designed specifically to support the equipment finance industry, the platform leverages data to predict business outcomes like payment delinquency, pricing, and funding to accelerate the speed and accuracy of an institution’s financial decisions.
“The application of artificial intelligence in the equipment finance industry carries with it the potential to dramatically increase the speed and efficiency of decision-making within a number of processes,” said Tamarack Chief Digital Officer Scott Nelson. “With Greg’s background and extensive industry experience, we are adding depth that is essential for supporting Tamarack.ai and helping clients realize the benefits that come from unlocking the dark data within their systems to reduce risk and improve performance.”
Henderson joins Tamarack with extensive experience implementing and managing the IDS (now Solifi) InfoLease platform. During his 15-year career at Wells Fargo Bank, he held numerous positions with increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as an AVP Systems Operations Engineer for Enterprise Information Technology. In this role, Henderson led the management team for the InfoLease platform which housed $60 billion in company assets with 500 end users. As part of his responsibilities, he supervised a team consisting of 26 technical contractors and regular team members located across the United States and India.
“As we work with companies to tap into the potential that Tamarack.ai offers, Greg’s unique ability to translate technological concepts and ideas into terms that people at any level of an organization can understand will be essential,” said Timothy Appleget, Director of Technology Services. “It is an exciting time at Tamarack and we are thrilled to have Greg join our team.”
Henderson earned a Bachelor of Applied Management with an MIS concentration in 2015 and an Associate of Applied Science, Computer Networking Systems in 2007 from the Dunwoody College of Technology. During his time at Dunwoody, Henderson was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, served on the Dunwoody Program Advisory Committee and was bestowed the honor of giving a commencement speech. Henderson is a resident of East Bethel, MN.
