Clarus Capital announced it has hired Jarrod Hicks as a Director in the Investment Origination Group. In this role, he will focus on new client acquisitions, deepening and expanding existing client partnerships, and generating financing opportunities with middle-market companies in the construction, manufacturing and transportation markets. Hicks will be based in Florida and will report to Matt Worman, Head of Direct Investment Origination at Clarus Capital.
 
Hicks brings more than 15 years of experience sourcing and structuring equipment financings for clients across the United States. Prior to joining Clarus Capital, he was a Senior Vice President at SLR Equipment Finance, where he was responsible for new business development opportunities. Previously, Hicks worked in the equipment finance groups at CIT and First National Capital.
