December 01, 2021, 07:12 AM

Executive Personal Computers, Inc. (EPC), a subsidiary of CSI Leasing, Inc. and one of the world’s largest IT asset disposition (ITAD) providers, announced several executive transitions and promotions throughout the organization that will take effect Jan. 1, 2022.

Dan Fuller, EPC’s co-founder and President, will be taking on a reduced role as Director and Senior Management Consultant. He will continue to be active in EPC’s business on a daily basis, providing guidance and direction on all high-level decisions.

Robin Fuller, co-founder and Vice President of Human Resources, will retire after 37 years of service to EPC. Throughout her tenure, Robin Fuller has been instrumental in shaping EPC into the thriving business it is today. Her influence can be found in all personnel-related aspects of the company, from the organizational structure to hiring strategies to team building initiatives. She has launched employee engagement activities and the corporate intranet, shaped departments, mentored countless colleagues, and recruited several employees who have grown into leadership positions.

Additionally, the following executive promotions have been announced:

Pat Laughlin, President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously Executive Vice President, Laughlin will oversee all of EPC’s U.S. operations and work closely with CSI Leasing and its sister companies around the world to ensure standards are consistently met across all business units. Laughlin has been with EPC for nearly 19 years. During this time, he has led several major initiatives, including price structure analysis, facility expansions, research and development for new service offerings, and more. Prior to EPC, he was a product manager for CSI Leasing for nine years. Laughlin earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Missouri.

Brian Wahoff, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Previously Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Wahoff will continue to oversee EPC’s IT administration, software development and security protocols. Throughout his 25-year tenure at EPC, he has developed the company-wide ERP, created applications integral to growth, led database and system administration, and more. He regularly sits on panels for various ITAD and data security-related conferences as a subject matter expert.

Lee Gallagher, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Previously Vice President of Operations, Gallagher will be responsible for planning and directing all aspects of EPC’s operational procedures, objectives and initiatives. Gallagher is credited with writing EPC’s pandemic plan in 2019 that was subsequently implemented in March 2020. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Gallagher has been instrumental in leading the disaster recovery team, keeping EPC employees and customers safe, and ensuring the company responded in a responsible way. He has been with EPC for 15 years and is a retired U.S. Army first sergeant with 22 years of service.

Rhonda Schmitz, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Schmitz is responsible for overseeing EPC’s accounting, tax, treasury and financial reporting areas. She started her career at EPC in 1998 as a part-time accountant, was promoted to Controller in 2012 and began managing all aspects of accounting and administration, including billing, product transfer, sales tax liability, internal purchasing and reception until becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2020. Prior to EPC, Schmitz spent 13 years at Mark Twain Bank in the internal audit department. Schmitz earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Masha Bohannan, Vice President of Human Resources. Previously Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, Bohannan will oversee human resource activities for EPC’s U.S. facilities, including handling all aspects of hiring, payroll, benefits, commissions and HR certifications. Bohannan has been with EPC for more than 10 years and has held various human resource-related roles. She earned an MBA with an emphasis in human resources management and a bachelor’s degree in international business from Lindenwood University.

“From the moment Robin and I started EPC more than 37 years ago, the company has been at the center of our lives. Back in 1984, I never could have imagined it would grow to be the thriving global business it is today,” said Dan Fuller. “I am forever grateful for the dedication, passion and incredible work ethic of each and every member of the EPC team. The future of EPC is now in the hands of the smartest, hardest working people I know. I am proud to call them my colleagues and my friends. Even though I will still be active on a daily basis, they will be leading EPC through its next set of challenges, its next set of successes, and the next generation to come.”

“OnLine Consultants” was co-founded by Dan Fuller in 1984 in an office closet with just two employees. One year later, the company moved to a small office in Ferguson, MO, and Dan and Robin Fuller assumed 100 percent ownership. In 1986, the Fullers changed the name to Executive Personal Computers, Inc. (EPC) and the business began expanding rapidly. In 1998, EPC was acquired by global IT lessor CSI Leasing and expanded to ITAD services in 2002. Over the past three and a half decades, EPC has grown to more than 500 employees and 17 locations worldwide. Under the Fullers’ leadership, EPC has been an innovator in the ITAD and secondary IT market industries. With services that include mobile HDD shredding and SSD disintegration, a world-class recycling facility, numerous certifications and more, the Fullers have grown EPC to be a leader in the industry.
