First Kentucky Bank President/CEO David A. Long announced that Doug Smith has joined First Kentucky Bank as a Business Development and Ag/Commercial Lending Officer.

Smith has 25 years of combined banking experience with his most recent role as an Agriculture Business Banker. At First Kentucky Bank, he will be responsible for business development and commercial lending in Ohio and Daviess County.

Smith said, “I am excited to join the team at First Kentucky Bank as a commercial lender. Working with First Kentucky will enable me to provide a better customer experience for my clients with fast local loan decisions, flexibility, personalized service, and a commitment to the community.”

Smith graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
