Onset Financial announced Remington Atwood was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Atwood joined Onset Financial in 2012 and was previously Senior Vice President of Finance.

Atwood oversees accounting, credit and syndication for Onset, working with institutional and non-institutional funding partners. Atwood’s vast expertise has proven critical in overseeing Onset’s annual audits as well as helping to navigate the complexities of paying taxes in almost all 50 states.

Atwood holds a master’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, a top nationally ranked program; is a Certified Public Accountant; and a member of the Equipment Leasing Finance Association. Prior to joining Onset, Atwood worked for a regional accounting firm and was responsible for auditing financial institutions across the Western states.
