PlainsCapital Bank announced Derrich Rodriguez has joined its San Antonio lending group as Senior Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer.

As a longtime resident of San Antonio, Rodriguez has two decades of banking experience in the area. He joins from Amegy Bank, where he served as Senior Vice President of the Commercial Real Estate Banking group for seven years. Prior to his time there, he served as Vice President of Comerica’s National Real Estate Services.

Rodriguez received a BBA in finance from Texas State University.
