During this time when just about everything seems out of the ordinary, Summit Funding Group, Inc. remains a vibrant business and is looking to grow. Not only has the company been running business as usual, but it also announced the expansion, plus wall-to-wall remodeling, of its headquarters in Mason, OH. The renovations bring the new total to 20,000 square feet of fresh office space.

“We relocated in 2012 due to the need for a larger space, and we are excited to be increasing our current space given our growth in market share over the past several years as well as to be able to prepare for a bright economy in the future. With the impact of COVID-19, some areas of our business are down, but other areas are significantly up, and overall, we are doing well. Summit has seen rapid growth over the last several years and expanding our headquarters has been an essential step to support this progression,” said Rick Ross, who has been the CEO of Summit since its inception in 1993. Summit has approximately 70 employees nationwide with offices throughout the Unites States including Texas, Florida, Nevada and California.

Summit is one of the largest independent equipment lessors in the U.S. It has 47 employees in Mason, and the leadership team plans to add more in the next few months as well as in 2021. Summit works with companies of all sizes in nearly every U.S. industry and it prides itself on the tremendous talents of its employees, focusing on encompassing the speed and personal service of a boutique financial services firm.

The new space includes features to enhance the Summit work environment, including quad-style workspaces to foster team collaboration, which follow COVID-19 guidelines, as well as new adjustable-standing desks to encourage mobility, and dual monitors for work optimization. Also updated is a large fully furnished lunchroom as well as the addition of a break room in the newly constructed vendor team area, to allow opportunities to recharge during breaks.

Ross noted, “Refreshing the look and size of our office is a reflection of our tremendous accomplishments over the years, and most importantly these enhancements recognize and celebrate the foundation of our success that makes us unique, which is the work of our great employees.”

Summit’s business model has proven stable in both volatile and healthy markets and the company has been profitable every year since inception. Summit is proud to have been serving customers for almost 28 years and the company looks forward to continued growth and providing unmatched service.
