Wintrust Commercial Finance (WCF), a division of Wintrust Asset Finance Inc., named Shane Butler and Charlie Fox as Direct Originators for its newly formed East region division, reporting to Keith Tornichia, Vice President of New Business Development and East Region Manager. In their roles, Butler and Fox will be responsible for direct originations in WCF’s direct lease and loan activities for the East region.

Based out of Connecticut, Butler has spent more than 17 years in the financing industry. Previously, he excelled in senior sales roles throughout the country at Banc of America Leasing, RBS/Citizens and GE Capital.

“I am extremely excited about joining a growing organization that has quickly become a major leader in the equipment finance industry,” said Butler. “Under their strong management and leadership, and with my previous experience, I am certain we are going to excel upon our goals given their client-first mentality.”

Fox, based out of North Carolina, has more than 12 years of senior sales experience originating and structuring transactions in the mid-to-large-ticket equipment finance market for GE Capital, Equify and Pitney Bowes.
