The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation released a new episode, “Deep Dive Into the COVID-19 Impact Survey,” that examines the Foundation’s newest research resource developed to assess the impact of the pandemic on the equipment finance industry.

Host and Foundation Executive Director Kelli Nienaber welcomes guests Tom Ware, President, Tom Ware Advisory Services, LLC and Foundation Research Committee Chair, and Chris Enbom, CLFP, CEO and Chairman, AP Equipment Financing and a member of the Foundation Research Committee in this third podcast release of 2020.

During the 24-minute discussion the speakers explain how the COVID-19 Impact Survey, which was launched in May, was developed and the methodology of questions. They also reveal reactions to key findings from the May survey and insights into what to expect in the June survey. The survey results are being released along with the Foundation’s Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry (MCI-EFI).

“We initiated the idea of a series of podcasts to spotlight the Foundation’s wide range of resources and programs, including interviews with researchers and Board of Trustees members,” said Valerie Gerard, Senior Managing Director, The Alta Group LLC and Foundation Board Trustee who spearheads the Foundation’s Podcast Working Group. “Since it launched just prior to the onset of COVID-19, we’ve been able to tailor new topics to be responsive to the issues posed by the pandemic.”
